Established in 2009 Stertman Motorsport is owned by Mattias Stertman and Jimmy Särås. Altogether they have more about 30 years of experience from the automotive industry.
Stertman Motorsport aim always to be there for you as a customer, with a good product, knowledge, service and everything you could ask for. We want to offer you products that we ourselves are proud of and we believe in long term relationships between us and our customers.
Stertman Motorsport is a company with considerable knowledge and experience and are supported by some of the largest suppliers in the tuning market included Giac, AWE Tuning, VF Engineering, Stasis and Milltek.
Mattias Stertman has for many years collaborated with PM Recond & Bilservice and PM Racing. PM Racing became an increasing part of PM Recond & Bilservice and after some years Mattias decided to start a new tuning company and break loose the tuning part from PM Recond & Bilservice. Mattias wanted to create a company that had motor sports and racing as core business, but also easier software upgrades of cars. He did this with his colleague Jimmy Särås.
Mattias Stertman has top car mechanic skills, and he has created his own solutions for more than 15 years and continues in that spirit. Mattias is seen as a perfectionist and is a very precise and accurate person. He does everything to assure that every detail will be as good as possible and have extreme demands on both products and himself!
Mattias greatest achievement as a driver and car builder is when Mattias drove the "So Big" (Audi S2 from -92) 9.91 and 233km/h at 1/4-mile and became the first four-wheel drive Audi driven faster than 10 seconds at 1/4-mile back in 2004.
Jimmy Särås has an extensive history as a car salesman of passenger cars. Jimmy also is very active and is still running at race tracks in Sweden and Europe with his Porsche 964 RS, Stertman Motorsport´s demo car BMW 135iM and “The Red Bullet”, his Audi RS4 B5.
Many of the products Stertman Motorsport offers their clients Jimmy has tested on race tracks under the most demanding circumstances. His frequent tracks are Nürburgring, SPA-Francorchamps, Mantorp Park and Gotland Ring to name a few.
Stertman Motorsports specialty is high performance cars, and of course the repair shop only uses parts from Audi, Bentley, BMW, Lamborghini, Mini, Seat, Skoda, Porsche, Volkswagen original parts or better.
Stertman Motorsport have all the knowledge, tools and instruments needed to make the best possible service for your car, and we hope that you will give us a chance to prove that we are one of the most skillful and brilliant workshops you can find in Scandinavia!
Historical dates: 2010-01-25 Website opens for the first time for the public to use.
Historical dates: 2012-02-29 Stertman Motorsport AB oppen the new workshop on Arkitektvägen 8 in Nynäshamn. It´s one of the finest tuning shops in Scandinavia by that time.
Historical dates: 2010-03-12 Anders Lönnqvist start to work at Stertman Motorsport AB as a mechanic.
From now on we are 3 people working at the shop.
