Terms and Conditions

Please carefully read the terms and conditions set out below. They describe your rights and explain how we operate. Please be aware that by accessing the website www.stertman.com or placing an order with us you are agreeing to these terms and conditions

 

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Stertman Motorsport AB shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Stertman Motorsport AB shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed.  

 

PRICES

All prices are presented in SEK, and Stertman Motorsport AB can not be held responsible for variation in the cost due to exchange rate

Value Added Tax (25%) will be charged on a purchase.

The buyer hereby agrees that it will pay in addition to the contract price the cost of delivery of the goods to the contracted place of delivery.

 

TERMS OF PAYMENT
Stertman Motorport AB practice Cash on delivery. That means that payment is due on delivery by the recipient. We also accept financial transaction in which the payment which is charged for the products and/or services that have been received is made at the point of the actual delivery or paid for in advance. Stertman also accept credit cards, debit cards or checks.

When you order a non-inventory, Speciality or Custom Item we require a 50% non-refundable deposit based on the total of the order. Once we receive the deposit, we get started on the order.

Stertman Motorsport also cooperates with a financing company that applies part-payment. Ask us and we will give you all further information necessary.

 

RETURN POLICY

The buyer needs to contact Stertman Motorsport within 14 days for any returns or problems. On non-inventory, Specialty or Custom Item goods Stertman Motorsport AB do NOT practice a sale-or-return basis.

Returns will not be accepted without return authorization. Parts that were originally shipped in vendor plastic bags, boxes or shrink-wrapped must be returned in that original packing and condition.

No writing of any kind is permitted on original supplier packages or boxes. Defaced items will be returned to customer. If the return is NOT the error of Stertman Mototorsport AB, there is a 200 SEK Restocking fee. All further costs due to the fact of the returning, for example shipping or dismantling will be charged the buyer.

 

WARRANTY

Stertman Motorsport AB offers a limited warranty to all of Stertman Motorsport brand name products, all accordingly to Swedish law. Stertman Motorsport AB reserves the rights to refuse warranty service of products under disputable conditions. Stertman Motorsport AB also holds the rights to declare final decision whether products are within warranty conditions. The following actions and damages will result in voiding the limited warranty:

  • Damage or incompatibility caused by failure to perform a proper installation / mounting.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repair or disassembling of the product.
  • If the vehicle and/or products has been used for racing, motor sport or training for racing, on or off race-tracks.

 

COSTUMER COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

Stertman Motorsport AB aims to deliver excellent service and excellent products and therefore sees every customer complaint as an opportunity to maintain confidence in its products and services.

If our products or services have not met your expectations or if you have a concern with Stertman Motorsport AB, we would like you to tell us within 14 days from discovery of the error. You can telephone, email or write to us using the contact details on this website. Complaints received by email or letter may be initially responded to by telephone.

We aim to resolve all complaints in a positive and expedient manner. Stertman Motorsport AB will try to resolve your complaint at the point of first contact. However this might not always be possible.

Where the issues are complex, additional time may be required to allow Stertman Motorsport AB to conduct proper enquiries. Where this is necessary, you will be kept informed of the progress of the investigation and the expected timeframe for completion.

Complaint will not be accepted without return authorization and a written receipt. Stertman Motorsport AB will not pay for any workshop costs, travel or transportation costs associated to the complaint. Complaints will not be accepted if the vehicle and/or products has been used for racing, motor sport or training for racing. Complaints will replace or repair the product.

 

PRODUCT LIABILITY

Stertman Motorsport cannot be held responsible for the injuries purchased products may cause on persons or property.

Some products and installations are intended for motor racing purposes, in some instances these products from Stertman Motorsport AB will change the characteristics, power and capacity of the vehicle and it may not longer be legally to drive in public road networks. It is always the buyer and owner of the car that holds the complete responsibility to verify if this is the case, and/or the car needs a vehicle test and a new registration.
